摘要: 遍布顺德县的龙江、勒流、杏坛、均安、沙滘,南海县的沙头、九江、西樵,中山县的古镇、南头、小榄,新会县的棠下、荷塘,鹤山县的古劳等地的桑基鱼塘,总面积达32.9万亩(包括半桑基鱼塘区在内),其中鱼塘占55%.桑基鱼塘从基面种桑开始,以桑叶喂蚕,蚕沙养鱼,鱼粪肥塘,塘泥上基种桑,周而复始地构成一个以水陆相互作用为其存在基础的农业生态系统.

Abstract: It is especially benefit to bighead carp(Aristichthy nobilis)and silver carp(Hypopthalnaichthys molitrix)in the dike-pond ecosystem of the Zhujiang Delta, which is potimun to the growth of plankton. If the area of a pond is smaller, the kinds and quantities of plankton will not be stable, thus the dike-pond ecosystem has no selfcorrecting homeostasis. To acquire maximum sustained yield of bighead carp and silver carp, the dynamic equilibrium of population between plankton and fish must be kept by controlling the oxygen, fertilizer and forage artificially. In the light of the fact that the monthly amount of plankton and the average month produce rate of fish are synchronous, the author suggests that before the growth season of bighead carp and silver carp coming, the basic quantity of plankton must be increased by artificial controlling, in order to bring every pond's productivity into fully play.
