Abstract: Urban land is the material base of the urban construction.Whether the use and distribution of the urban land are rational is one of the main signs judging the economic eihciency of urban construction.This paper approaches the following three problems on the land use in Guangzhou.First,the existing problems on the land use in Guangzhou consist of:1.The composition of the land use is not rational,and the proportion of the land using in industry is higher.2.The layout of the land use is not rational.Industries are concentrated in cityproper of Guangzhou.3.The increase of the using land of urban is not suited to the urban development and the population growth.
