摘要： 北海市位于北部湾东北角,北与合浦县交界,东部和南部隔海与广东省雷州半岛和海南岛相望(附图)全市总面积约175平方公里,人口约18万(不包括大量的临时人口).其主要区域是由大陆和岛屿(涠洲岛、斜阳岛)两部分组成.北海市现为我国对外开放的十四个沿海城市之一.根据国务院批复的北海市发展规划,旅游业对于北海市发展经济具有一定地位.为此,有必要对其旅游资源的开发利用进行研究.

Abstract: Beihai,with its beautiful scenery and aboundant natural resources,has been honoured as the "Shining Pearl of the Beibu Gulf". The City of Beihai,Guangxi Zhuang Autonmous Region,is one of the 14 coastal open cities in China.Located at the southern corner of Guangxi, Beihai borders on the Beibu Gulf,with three sides surrounded by sea.This region has a southern subtropical monsoon climate.The climate in the region is mild and landscape alluring.
